Chris is a multi award-winning writer, CD and ECD who has been featured in the PR Week Powerbook twice, has sat on juries for the Creative Circle, The Drum and the esoteric HydeTube Awards and written for Contagious Magazine, Shots and The Drum. He doesn’t like all of that chest beating stuff though. He likes doing and making stuff. Chris found himself in the unwitting role of ‘creative’ after two decades spanning journalism, broadcast, event work, pr, print and the wonderful world of social and digital.
He has a huge passion for talent development with a deep focus on creative diagnostics. His proprietary method of team building (the nexus method – ask him about it), has seen him nurture creatives and strategists from all levels. He has merged departments, galvanized disparate teams and always pays heavy attention to culture building and re-engineering the shape of how modern creative departments should work. He also has a track record for cracking tough briefs and winning pitches for global clients, as well as working on some of the UK’s best loved brands. He has bags of experience with automotive, gaming, fmcg, fashion, travel, youth culture, retail and social.
He believes that he knows lots about all kinds of things, which is remarkably useful in advertising. He also really likes tea and coffee. But not at the same time.
